Wherever you are in the world, observe at any time the Auberge du Père Bise and Lake Annecy. From the first morning lights to the magnectic obscurity.

The panoramic shot of the camera is a window, like a breathtaking view on our universe. A precious ecosystem where the Lake, the Auberge and the moutnains come together to form a unique whole; a suit of nature fitting a little more each day, increasing the infinite charm and beauty of the place. Finally a view to understand the course of the seasons. From the roof of Talloires pier, as a traveller – staying at the hotel – observing the surroundings from his terrace, one can fully appreciate the natural, perpetual ballet. The lights appear and fade with the changing climate.

The great white silence of Winter, solemn; the flakes covering the mounts and enhancing the rocky aspect of the vertical lines. The flamboyant bouquet of Spring, the score of eternal nuances all endowed with an incredible disorderly organisation. The warm and pure summer light meeting the emerald coolness of trees and water – these complementing each other, coming together in a primitive, natural dance. The leafy ground of Autumn, a true in-between of elements, when the hilly spaces become lighter with the wind.

An intimate space where the delimitation – all in stone – is situated at two points of demarcation: a border on the one hand represented by the Roc de Chère, and on the other by its opposite neighbour Duingt. Where the Taillefer mountain stretches out its long arm of rock, going from the earth to the lagoon, revealing on the palm of its hand – naturally gathered – the eponymous castle of the village.
