In the gentle morning, wake up in the centre of a calm and quiet place. To start your day in a sweet and delicate way, take your time for breakfast. The dawning lights on the lake, the ballet of natural elements unfold before your eyes, the lapping of the waves as background sound. For resident the breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10.30am. In a relaxed and relaxing ambiance, the swans glide accross the blue stretch, the trees rustle with elegance, the mountains stand proud and play with shades of green. It is now, the delight of Pain Perdu, a spoon softly dipping into the Perfect Egg by Jean Sulpice, a few pieces of Praline Tart or saffron Flan Pâtissier. In calm and serenity, the enjoyment – at dawn – of a family home that only promotes well-being.

How beautiful it is to live and be able to enjoy the surrounding nature, the pleasure of a life not ruled by the clockwork. From morning until night, the Marius Bar savoury and sweet menu is available for any tasty stopover. The main point of the Auberge du Père Bise, a place of choice on the shores, the immersion – in the most appropriate moment – in the heart of comfort is complete. Celery risotto with yellow wine and Comté, Gravlax of Féra from the Lake with Herbs are among the dishes to be discovered at Marius.

Take a moment out of time. During the day, for a punctual or late hunger, the wish to have a drink, we welcome you inside or outside; depending on your desires, at your own pace. At all times, in all lights, you will be offered the menu of the Marius Bar. Thus, at zenith or sunset, enjoy a selection of champagnes, inspired creations, a few mouthfuls of the Garden Baskets – Féra or Poultry – of Jean Sulpice. A few notes on the piano, the gentle and natural melody of Lake Annecy; the delicate tumult of the Auberge; as the stars go by, savour the deceleration of time, this enjoyable slowdown of a serene comfort.

Pratical Information

For non resident customers, our Marius bar welcomes you, without reservation and subject to availability:

for a drink, every day from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
to eat, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

We remind you that the beach is reserved only for guests staying at the hotel and that correct clothing is required to access the terrace, in particular no swimsuits or shorts.

Succession of moments of conviviality, the Marius Bar evokes with precision the natural and the relaxation of the Auberge du Père Bise, an enchanting family house. Just like Marius Bise, who in its time honestly and friendly welcomed the travellers, while Marguerite, his wife, created remarkable and inspired by the place savours in her kitchen.
